Goals

Implement evidence-based teen pregnancy prevention programs in schools, community-based settings, and clinics
Provide supportive services that connect youth and families to mental health, primary health care, and reproductive health care
The POPSS project aims to increase adolescent health by implementing evidence-based programs, policies, and resources in schools, clinics, community sites, and congregate care settings in historically underserved communities in the greater Chicagoland area. POPSS is a collaboration between Texas A&M University and Lurie Children's Hospital. The Lurie Children's Hospital implements evidence-based programs, ensuring community voices and partnerships in the initiative.
